You’re a Civil Engineer who wants to work on a broader mix of projects while developing your technical and project delivery skills. At Stantec, you’ll join our Civil & Structural team in Almondsbury, Bristol, working across a range of sectors including education, residential, regeneration, and technology. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary environment where collaboration is central, giving you the opportunity to contribute to projects from early concept through to delivery.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will support the delivery of civil engineering design across a variety of development projects, contributing to scheme development, detailed design, and project coordination. Your work will include designing infrastructure such as drainage, highways, and earthworks, ensuring solutions are practical, coordinated, and aligned with project objectives.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to support effective project delivery. Alongside technical work, you’ll contribute to project management activities, including fee proposals, financial awareness, and work-winning support.
As you develop in the role, you’ll also support junior team members, helping to maintain quality and consistency across outputs while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
YOUR IMPACT
You’ll contribute to projects that shape how developments are planned and delivered, supporting infrastructure that enables sustainable growth across a range of sectors. Your work will influence how sites function, ensuring designs are efficient, compliant, and aligned with both client and environmental requirements.
Internally, your impact will be seen in your contribution to delivery quality and teamwork. By supporting others and engaging across disciplines, you’ll help build capability while developing your own progression within the team.
