You’re a Senior Structural Engineer who wants more ownership, more visibility, and a clearer path into leadership. At Stantec, you’ll join a highly regarded Civil & Structural team in London, taking a leading role in delivering complex building projects while developing your influence across clients, teams, and future work. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary environment, working alongside specialists across the business and contributing to projects that go beyond single-discipline delivery.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a central role in delivering structural engineering projects, taking responsibility for design, coordination, and overall project quality from concept through to construction. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and aligned with wider project objectives.
Alongside technical delivery, you’ll support project management activities—helping to manage programme, resources, and commercial performance. You’ll also contribute to developing junior engineers, providing guidance and oversight while maintaining high standards across outputs.
As your role develops, you’ll begin to take on greater involvement in client engagement and business development, supporting proposals, strengthening relationships, and contributing to the growth of the team.
YOUR IMPACT
You’ll contribute to projects that support the development of resilient and sustainable buildings across the UK. Your work will influence how structures respond to environmental challenges, regulatory pressures, and long-term performance requirements, helping clients deliver projects that are robust and future-ready.
Internally, your impact will be seen in the development of people and the consistency of delivery. By supporting engineers and contributing to a collaborative team environment, you’ll help strengthen capability while building your own path toward more senior leadership.
